"Put my experience and knowledge of the market to work for you."
A fourth (4th) generation native of Covington County, I joined the family firm (est. 1946) and began a second (2nd) career after teaching K-12 choral music for five (5) years. I am a graduate of Andalusia High School, the University of Alabama, the American Real Estate Institute, and the Realtor Institute of Alabama. It is a pleasure to support my community through service to the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce ( Past President), the Covington Historical Society (Past President and Historian), the Three-Notch Museum (Museum Chairman), and the First Baptist Church Choir. Music, researching and preserving history, gardening, and scrap booking are my hobbies. Playing the piano for beauty pageants, civic club events, weddings, and anniversaries are enjoyable pastimes. Traveling with groups to England, Scotland, and Ireland and attending a Peter, Paul, and Mary concert in Atlanta are recent significant events in my life! My husband is a Radio Shack dealer and we have two (2) grown children, a married daughter (real estate agent), a married son (radio station owner and parttime law enforcement officer), and four (4) little grandsons. I thoroughly enjoy both listing and selling real estate and promoting my hometown, the "dimple of Dixie!" I have a record of personal commitment and dedication to helping buyers and sellers by paying close attention to details and by listening carefully to the wants and needs of new and repeat customers and clients. Through the years as a real estate broker, I have assisted newcomers and locals of many different backgrounds in fulfilling their dreams of homeownership. Of special interest to me is helping prepare and "stage" a home to sell. A full-time Realtor, I was a charter member of the Covington Association of Realtors (Past President) and belong to the AAR, NAR, and MLS. I'll make "Stars Fell on Alabama" one of your favorite songs, too!

"It's a joy to help people buy or sell a home!"
I am a native of Abbeville, Alabama and came to Andalusia as an elementary school teacher having graduated from Troy State University. After five years of teaching, I became a homemaker where we reared four children who are now grown. I am the proud grandmother of six grandchildren. Tutoring students part-time in my home was enjoyable as is teaching Sunday School for the past 40 years. For over 16 years I have been a licensed real estate sales associate. It has been my passion to help people with intensity of purpose and zeal to invest in the home of their choice. I have a personal commitment to the families I work with especially those who are newcomers to our community. I am a member of the MLS, NAR, AAR, and the Covington Association of Realtors. My hobbies are decorating, cooking, reading, and entertaining my large family when everyone is home.

"It's a proud heritage we share here in "God's Country"
I, along with my husband of 48 years, live in the northern part of Covington County within a few miles of the places we each were born. He attended Red Level High School, and I was a member of Andalusia High School Class of 1958.
We have two children, Sam, a contractor in Mobile, and Sara who works with the city Board of Education. Sara is married to Rob Mixson, an English teacher at Red Level. They have recently presented us with our first grandchild, Emmalee Kate. We are members of First Baptist Church of Gantt, where I teach a pre-school Sunday School class. In addition to church activities, I am active in the American Legion Auxiliary, play canasta, and love to travel with my family.
I received my real estate training at the American Real Estate Institute in 1983 becoming a broker 2 years later. Since that time I have been involved continually in the business, being a charter member and past president of the Covington Association of Realtors. I hold membership in AAR, NAR, and MLS.
Over the years I have prided myself in offering service just a little beyond what might be expected. This practice has rewarded me with many repeat customers both buyers and sellers. I would count it a pleasure to help you and your family locate in the place just right for you. If you are selling, let me show you how we can best market your most valuable asset. Newcomers to the area will get my famous "grand tour". I am proud of our heritage and would love to put you in the picture of our future here in "God's Country".
